I need a 3D Studio Max file rendered...

Hi everyone, I have a project for work that requires a 3D Studio Max file to be rendered in a short timeframe. Does anyone have access to 3DSMax and some powerful computers who would be willing to render for me? Ideally we need this file by Thursday (...) (19 years ago, 12-Jun-07, to lugnet.cad)

Bavarian S3/6 steam engine in odd color livre

Hi to all Lugnet train fans! Today I want to present an engine I have finished to build two weeks ago. Since then I hadn't found the time to present it here.   NonCA-parts in need of re-writing

Hi folks, At www.ldraw.org you will find a list of files in the official library, whose original author has not affirmed the CA and therefore need to be re-written by CA-authors.   LDView on USB Key drives

One feature that's not mentioned in the help file, the change history file, or the previous post is (Windows-only) support for running LDView off of removable media (like a USB key). This feature has had very little testing, and has some known (...) (19 years ago, 10-Jun-07, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

Re: LDView command line snapshot scaling

(...) It appears that some people read this. There were 13 downloads of the Mac Binary immediately after I posted my official release announcement for LDView 3.2 Beta 1 (one of which was my test download). There were only 3 downloads of each of the (...) (19 years ago, 9-Jun-07, to lugnet.cad)

  *** LDView Version 3.2 Beta 1 Released ***

LDView 3.2 Beta 1 is now available for download from the LDView downloads page here: (URL) This is a Beta release, which means that I’m hoping to get as much feedback as possible. This also means that it is likely not as stable as a final release, (...) (19 years ago, 9-Jun-07, to lugnet.announce, lugnet.cad, FTX)

Re: LDView command line snapshot scaling

(...) Adding -SaveZoomToFit=0 to the LDView command line resolves this problem. Thanks to Travis for the suggestion. Jim (19 years ago, 8-Jun-07, to lugnet.cad)

Re: LDView command line snapshot scaling

(...) Neat! Here's what I get with my quick attempt to try the examples with the current code, built using the same Qt 3.3.7 I used for the alpha. The bricks appear scaled correctly, but there are some large artifacts. ldview -ModelSize=600 (...) (19 years ago, 8-Jun-07, to lugnet.cad)

Re: LDView command line snapshot scaling

(...) It uses LDraw units. (...) I do plan to release a Mac binary of the Beta. In fact, I'll probably get that built and posted to sf.net before announcing it more officially and updating the LDView web page. --Travis (19 years ago, 8-Jun-07, to lugnet.cad)

Re: LDView command line snapshot scaling

(...) What units does the -ModelSize argument use? (...) Thanks for the examples! Those are helpful. Your recent changes must indeed have fixed something relevant; the images I generate with the first few example commands are very large (and not to (...) (19 years ago, 8-Jun-07, to lugnet.cad)

Re: LDView command line snapshot scaling

That's a first for me. The web Preview of my previous message looked different. The images were all placed on the line after their associated command line, which was what I wanted, and made it easier to read. --Travis (19 years ago, 7-Jun-07, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

Re: LDView command line snapshot scaling

(...) fine, as long as you set x to be big enough. With the current source code, -cg (with radius) should also work fine. Despite the fact that -cg was documented to support the radius part in LDView 3.1, it in fact didn't. I fixed that, but perhaps (...) (19 years ago, 7-Jun-07, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

  LDView command line snapshot scaling
