Indeed it was before I knew of Ldraw and at that time I actually started to
discover LEGO again and it's huge community of AFOLs. So yes, I made the virtual
model in a program called Solidworks.

All I can say is, "WOW".  I'm sure many of the parts were quite easy to model,
but some of them had to be really tough (I can't imagine the body panels being
easy).  Plus there are so many different parts in that set that it's just
amazing to do them all for one project, and then fit them all together.

Oh, and congratulations on your (relatively) new job with LEGO.
