While at Brickfest, I met Dave Bird, a technic designer for LEGO. He is a very nice guy, and a pleasure to spend time with. We talked about many things, but one that really got my attention was talking a bit about CAD. Dave wondered shy we had our (...) (19 years ago, 17-Aug-05, to lugnet.cad)

(...) "assumed" is too strong of a word. AFOLs have approached LEGO, in various ways, about sharing resources for CAD. The primary example of this is probably the "CAD summit" that occurred a few years ago.(1) People from the outside met with people (...) (19 years ago, 17-Aug-05, to lugnet.cad)
