My latest Ldraw Work -- 588 Police Headquarters —Chris Shepard
I wanted to share with everyone the latest work I've been doing with Ldraw. For now I am building the same sets in Ldraw that I currently have. I recently finished the 6390 Main Street. I still have to make the decals for it and the string for the (...) (19 years ago, 7-Aug-05, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

(...) --SNIP IMAGES-- Hi Chris, Nice work although I do recommend setting your camera angle a little narrower. I mocked up a dat for that part using my sticker converting program which you can find (URL) here (dat file)>. The header material is a (...) (19 years ago, 7-Aug-05, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

(...) Actually, it is quite good! Thank you for the link. I was working on a sticker also, but whenever I rendered it, the sticker kinda stuck out rather than blending in with the brick behind it. One trick is to add a blank quad a little out from the (...) (19 years ago, 8-Aug-05, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

Looks like there is another part that I'm surprised isn't in the Ldraw library. It's the car doors with the police logo on it. Seems like that would be used a lot. Here are the part reference numbers: 3821px3 & 3822px3 from Peeron, and 3821pb01 & (...) (19 years ago, 8-Aug-05, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

(...) You'll find that patterned parts less often found in the official library due to the shear number of variations and the complexity of authoring the patterns. -Orion (19 years ago, 8-Aug-05, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

Re: My latest Ldraw Work -- 588 Police Headquarters —Chris Shepard
(...) I've been investigating how to make Ldraw parts, so I'm going to look a little into that. I did notice that someone was working on them (Neil's Ldraw Site), but I'm not sure how long ago he was working on them. I finished my set: (URL) Now (...)
