(...) Hi Orion, You can use the preferences tool to change the resolution LDD uses. Open the tool (Start Menu -> LEGO Software -> LEGO Digital Designer -> Preferences) then select the user defined category, choose customize, and pick your resolution (...) (20 years ago, 14-Jul-04, to lugnet.cad)

(...) The windowed mode is a preview for advanced users at the moment; it doesn't interact nicely with Windows so there isn't much advantage to using it. However you can use the preferences tool to change the full screen resolution to your desktop (...) (20 years ago, 16-Jul-04, to lugnet.cad)

(...) You can set the resolution to a custom value by editing the configuration file. It's in C:/Program Files/LEGO Software/LEGO Digital Designer/lego.conf and you can edit the Height and Width values in that file to get a custom resolution. -- (...) (20 years ago, 19-Jul-04, to lugnet.cad)

(...) The access is just to check if there is a new version available, if it can't connect LDD should just assume there's no new version and continue. It sounds like there's another issue with your video card that is preventing LDD from running at (...) (20 years ago, 19-Jul-04, to lugnet.cad)

(...) I know what the problem is now, you don't have any bricksets installed. The page it takes you to should have some brickset installers on but hasn't been updated yet - I'll raise it as a QA issue. To get them download the internet installers (...) (20 years ago, 20-Jul-04, to lugnet.cad)
