I personally have several parts that would fall into the awol category...
It sounds like what you want is similar to the parts status page Tore Eriksson
had up for awhile. It was a very handy resource, but had a huge upkeep
requirement. (Thanks Tore!)
If the process could be automated without abuse... that would be almost as
awsome as the current parts tracker system.
Perhaps there could also be some interaction with Peeron on this.
As a side note, if you have a part that you are absolutley sure is not on
Peeron, they have a picture submission process. (I have not sent any to Peeron
yet, I need to re-read the procedure)
