Neat stuff. I was curious if one could infer what TLC's internal data formats might be with this info from the Dekstop Engineering article. The link to Unigraphics gets redirected to EDS. It seems they were acquired since the article was written. (...) (22 years ago, 22-May-03, to lugnet.cad)

OK more info and guesses. They, EDS, have a page where Jaguar used the same software to design the new hood ornaments. (URL) they were all done, they converted the surface representations into polys and exported them from Imageware as an .stl file. (...) (22 years ago, 22-May-03, to lugnet.cad)
