  Re: Un-Official Part: 30357

Don't shred me for this question, but what did you use to design the part? I just learned of MLCAD's existence yesterday and I already want to dabble with the parts.... a point in the right direction, please? thanks Karim <knassar@mindspring.com> (...) (25 years ago, 27-Dec-99, to lugnet.cad)

  Mech  [DAT]

Hi everybody, this is light combat mech I built some time ago. The mech comes with a pulse rifle that has a grenade launcher on the front bottom, this rifle attaches to the back two clips for easy carrying. My goal for this mech was to make it easy (...)   Re: How to break up multi-dat files?

(...) Some means of requesting a cache refresh would be very useful for those times when I use MLCad to review parts I am authoring.   Re: How to break up multi-dat files?

I'd be happy with no refresh or a manual refresh on submodel images... it's fast enough to go out and come back in, that doing that would be good enough. Most of the time when I actually care about the images for submodels it's because I built all (...) (25 years ago, 24-Dec-99, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

  8440 alt model mod  [DAT]

Hi all! Here's a modification to the alternate model of 8440. The alternate model is a hotrod, with an engine in the front driven by the rear wheels.   Re: How to break up multi-dat files?

Currently MlCad scannes a .dat file on its first access and cashes its data, these data are used for the preview which is not a problem since the data of a dat file do not change (at least not for MLCad during run-time). But the sub-models you (...) (25 years ago, 23-Dec-99, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

Re: Viewing DAT files from my browser?

(...) Yes you can, by using LDLite. LDLite is a windows DAT file viewer that runs off your existing LDraw parts library. At the moment, Paul Gyugyi's LDLite page is down as he tried to get his site back online. I thought there was an ldraw.org (...) (25 years ago, 23-Dec-99, to lugnet.cad)

Viewing DAT files from my browser?

Is there a way to view LDraw DAT files that are posted to models directly from a web browser? To state it more clearly... I am using IE 5 to read LUGNET in it's web based format. Is there a way I can "read" the DAT files people post on the fly, or (...) (25 years ago, 22-Dec-99, to lugnet.cad)
