It should be able to combine the subfiles with the main dat file and tally up the total parts list without having to change the file from an MPD to a DAT. (...) Maybe he has to be like (...) (...) maybe I'm confusing myself. at different times I have different needs. During model design it is handy to have many subfiles as you can segment your work. (...) Right now (MLCAD 1.5), you can right-click a view, and change *that window* to one of the standard views. (...) I believe that would take care of the problem. CSTUD.DAT wouldn't be recognized by LDraw and LEdit as anything special--these two programs recognize files named stud*.dat as special files; LDraw substitutes stu2*.dat when the fast draw option (...) (25 years ago, 29-Nov-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

(...) I'd say, brickwise, Tyco's biggest problem is they didn't round off the edges of the bricks. You thought it hurt to step on *LEGO* bricks? Those Tyco pieces were doubly painful.
