Has anyone tried to make new parts with MLCAD? I would like to learn how to do them and then contribute to the LDraw library. I am assuming right now that it can only be done with Notepad and saved then viewed with MLCAD, but I don't know. I am (...) (25 years ago, 27-Nov-99, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

A new group dedicated to MLCad has just been created. MLCad is a free program written by Michael Lachmann for modeling LEGO designs (or other construction systems). Amtrak's newest concept, ACELA ( www.acela.com ) is preety cool. heres my attemt at modeling such a nice train set. now for the passenger car. modeled after 4560-b (passenger car) with a few changes (that part 4215 looks good for a window!)TMWYT 0 (...) (...) Personally, I wouldn't care one way or the other *intrinsically* if ldraw.org decided to host off-brand elements... What I (personally) would be very sad to see is LEGO stuff being *mixed* with off-brand stuff. That's what I meant by going the (...)
