Help! The Classic 4-blade rotor has been overwritten!

To all who SHOULD be concerned: In the latest LDraw upgrade, the 4 bladed rotor (it was included in many McDonalds happy meal sets in the middle 1980s) with the blades the size of a 1x2 plate radiating around a 1 x 1 x 2/3 hole (Part #3464) has been (...)   Re: Clone DATs--any interest?

(...) Here's part of the disclaimer I've already attached in the zip-file: I know my efforts may seem like heresy to a number of AFOL's, and I apologize for any stepped-on toes. Let me state plainly that the pieces included here are ABSOLUTELY (...) (25 years ago, 24-Nov-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: Clone DATs--any interest?

(...) Count me in the minority, then. Making parts is hard. If someone wants to make parts I say more power to them. Perhaps making clone parts will refine their modeling skill, which has to be a good thing for all of us. I understand the issues but (...) (25 years ago, 24-Nov-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: Clone DATs--any interest?

Dave Schuler: (...) If you choose the maximum quality setting in l3p you should get the LEGO logo on the studs. Play well, Jacob ---...--- -- E-mail: sparre@cats.nbi.dk -- -- Web...: <URL:(URL) -- ---...--- (25 years ago, 23-Nov-99, to lugnet.cad.ray)

  The embossed Lego logo

On some POV-ray Lego images I've seen the Lego logo rendered on each stud; forgive a potentially simple question, but how is this done? I expect I'm missing something fairly basic, but my renderings show only smooth, flat studs. Any suggestions? (...) (25 years ago, 23-Nov-99, to lugnet.cad.ray)
