Now that long file names are allowed in LDraw and on Parts Tracker, what should we do with primitives for which name systematics gives filenames length > 8 characters? - Continue to cram everything in 8 characters nonetheless, eg. (URL) some (...) (13 years ago, 3-Mar-11, to lugnet.cad)

(...) Where did you install the programs? Both Vista and Windows 7 treat the "C:\Program Files" folder hierarchy in a special, extra protected way. Many 'old' programs will work much better if installed outside of this folder, for example create (...) (13 years ago, 1-Mar-11, to lugnet.cad.dev)

(...) Hi Michael, I did a re-install,won't work. Only the first attemp to run the application was succesfull (after the installation, you can start the application, thats when it did run). Hi Reuben, (...) 4-4rin18 and 4-4rin19 are official files, released in 2010 (2010-01 and 2010-02). Since you missed at least 2 releases, I'd suggest you reinstall the complete LDraw library. (...) Hi all, I'm working on a model that includes the part 55981.dat. This references the sub-part 55981s01.dat. To get the model to load in MLCAD I think I also had to download the part 4-4rin18.dat from the site (URL) ldr file can be found here: (URL) (...)
