Re: LSynth 3 available on kclague.net

(...) Hi Kevin & co, I just tried to install LSynth and ran into two problems. I did go through the tutorial and troubleshooting page, but couldn't find anything about it. The first problem is that it seems that not all necessary parts are included (...) (16 years ago, 14-Mar-09, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: NXT based 3D scanner

(...) Fantastic work Philo! I'm so envious. I work daily with 3D coordinate measuring machines (CMM) of all kinds ((URL) and my secret dream for many years has been to build one with LEGO. I've never managed to construct a reliable probe, though - (...) (16 years ago, 14-Mar-09, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.robotics)

  NXT based 3D scanner

(URL) As a LDraw parts author, I am always interested to find new ways to model LEGO parts. Many parts have a clear geometric structure and are relatively easy to create, but parts like minifig animals or wigs have no defined geometric shape and are (...)   Re: Orientation of parts in PLI using LPub 4.x

I figured it out and using the old ORIENTATION file from and old LPub version. The strange thing is that the 2x4 plates display rotated, but the 2x6 does not. It is in the same file and orientated the same like the 2x4 plates. Clearing the (...) (16 years ago, 13-Mar-09, to lugnet.cad)

Orientation of parts in PLI using LPub 4.x  [DAT]

Hi all, Though I have put the Techinc plates 2x4, 2x6 and 2x8 with holes in the pli.mpd file that comes with LPub4.x and rotated them so the the holes are visible in the PLI, they just show up normal. How to accomplish this? I've added thes lines: 1 (...) (16 years ago, 13-Mar-09, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Printing LPub instructions with Lulu.com

(...) Yes, the binding is stapled. Lulu offers a few differing binding options (stapled, plastic coil, paperback-like "perfect" binding, etc.), but stapled is the only option available for a minimal number of pages (22, in this case). I was worried (...) (16 years ago, 13-Mar-09, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.dev.mac, lugnet.inst, lugnet.publish, FTX)

Re: Printing LPub instructions with Lulu.com

(...) Very cool--I love it! To be honest, it would never have occurred to me to use Lulu; I got as far as "I should try Kinkos," and that's where I sort of stalled. I have to say that the end results look amazingly professional and high-quality. (...) (16 years ago, 13-Mar-09, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.dev.mac, lugnet.inst, lugnet.publish, FTX)
