  Mosaic Conversion Program

Hi all, I recently rewrote my program to convert images to a LEGO- or ministeck-mosaic. You can find a complete discription of how it works on (URL) my webpage>.   LDCalc 0.1.0.5 released

I have just finished version 0.1.0.5 of LDCalc. The changes are: Some minor interal changes. Now it should work on ALL systems (windows, linux, mac) where Mono ((URL) is installed. As I do not have a mac system I can not test it there so I need your (...) (16 years ago, 17-Jan-09, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.announce)

Re: New setup tutorial for LDraw and MLCad

Looks good. Though I didn't try to re-install my LDraw setup, I did follow the steps very easily. The only thing I noticed was the MLCAD screen shots were partially in another language. On the MLCAD page, I really like the icons for Beginer, (...) (16 years ago, 17-Jan-09, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

Re: 8862, What's Wrong With This Picture?

(...) You can find stl2dat here: (URL) 4.0 exports to STL, although that functionality hasn't been tested all that much: (URL) you do end up having problems with LDView's STL export, let me know, and I'll see what I can do. --Travis (16 years ago, 17-Jan-09, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.technic)

Re: 8862, What's Wrong With This Picture?

(...) The part only ever came in two sets, so not just everyone has one. What would you need? I could take measurements and/or send you 3-view photographs if that would work. Eric (16 years ago, 15-Jan-09, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.technic, FTX)

8862, What's Wrong With This Picture?

I've been building an Ldraw model of the venerable 8862 Backhoe Loader both for fun and to enhance my page in Technicopedia. I've been doing some test renders and have posted what I have so far. Take a look and tell me what's wrong with this (...) (16 years ago, 15-Jan-09, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.technic, FTX)

Re: What happened to LDraw.org domain name???

(...) Due to the nature of DNS updates, for some the site may appear down for 24-48 hours until whatever DNS server their ISP uses updates. This will repeat when I implement the changes necessary to fix the help desk. -Orion (16 years ago, 14-Jan-09, to lugnet.cad)
