  Re: Help writing LDraw's history

(...) Nothing can be found in that file that helps us. You have to go to the project page and then you have all files for download and there are a lot. As far as I understand the code the file that has the code that we have to change is here, but I (...) (16 years ago, 5-May-08, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw, FTX)

(...) Orion or Willy may be able to. I don't believe I have a local copy of the files and don't know what happened with the article. If all else fails, I hope Bram has an archived copy. -Tim (16 years ago, 5-May-08, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

  Re: Help writing LDraw's history

Hey, before this history thread drops completely outta site... Is there any way to restore the historical LDraw and LEdit tutorial that used to be available here? (URL) (16 years ago, 5-May-08, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

Re: Using LDraw (and LeoCAD, LDGLite, LDView) on 64 bit Linux?

(...) Apparently it's not too hard to get it to compile under x64. I had a friend using 64 bit debian fetch the latest code from CVS and build it. He had to install the developer version of libOSMesa to compile, but that was about it. His Direct (...) (16 years ago, 5-May-08, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.dev, lugnet.cad.leocad)

  Release of Color Manager

I am proud to introduce Color Manager for MLCAD and Ldraw. (URL) The main feature of Color Manager is to filter your parts list to only those pieces that are available (from Bricklink) in the color that you choose. This allows the user to build (...)   Re: 3ds Max Import Script

(...) Hi Guys, thanks for the feedback, what I've done is basically take both suggestions and merge them. Basically what I've observed so far is that not all parts in the "Parts" folder have the LDRAWORG meta tag (which denotes the type of file, (...) (16 years ago, 4-May-08, to lugnet.cad.dev, FTX)

  Re: Parallels Advice

(...) Travis; You, of course, are correct. Home Basic and Home Premium cannot be virtualized, but the more expensive version can. Just recently MS was going to change the EULA to allow virtualization, but then changed its mind back. --Jim (16 years ago, 4-May-08, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: 3ds Max Import Script

(...) Hi Travis! Thanks for the input. I'm yet to fully exploit the meta/header data of the files, I've focused on the winding properties only thus far. This will give me greater cause to look deeper into them! Cheers Shane (16 years ago, 3-May-08, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: 3ds Max Import Script

Thanks Steve! That's really useful! I too thought that ldraw site would have the directory structure more documented then it is, but clarification is always nice. Cheers Shane (16 years ago, 3-May-08, to lugnet.cad.dev, FTX)
