Re: New Part: x784 Technic Gear Hailfire Droid Wheel

(...) Hello Amnon, You never submitted your Hailfire Droid Wheel to LDraw Parts Tracker, do you mind if I do so? (on your behalf of course!) Philo (16 years ago, 25-Apr-08, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  LD4DStudio Beta 1 Release

Hello all, Yesterday I finally finished the first Beta version of LD4DStudio. Due to some server problems I had to wait one day to put it online, but after almost five years what's another day :) Besides the program itself I also wrote a complete (...)   Re: LDD has new bricks.

(...) Not a bad idea. Which I tried. It reported that two bricks were not available. But there are plenty of others that are in LDD but unavailable for sale now in pick-a-brick. I did find another method, a process of elimination. I used the select (...) (16 years ago, 25-Apr-08, to lugnet.cad.ldd)

Re: LDD Problem opening a lxf file

(...) I ran into a similar problem, when I tried to use & in the file name (i.e: "trucks&motor"). LDD saved, apparently no problem, but later would not open the file. (16 years ago, 25-Apr-08, to lugnet.cad.ldd)

  Re: Help writing LDraw's history

(...) The alternative timelines I've checked out have either fewer features or don't display as nicely as we'd want for this. The original seems to be the best so far, and is really only lacking a couple features to make it ideal. Is anyone here (...) (16 years ago, 25-Apr-08, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw, FTX)

Re: Parts requests? (re: x136 and 50944px1)

  Re: LDD has new bricks.

(...) Your best shot is to see if LDD lets you upload the model to the LEGO website. If it does (or if you have a previously-uploaded version), then click on the "Check Price" page. It will say that you can't order the model due to parts being out (...) (16 years ago, 24-Apr-08, to lugnet.cad.ldd)

  Re: LDD has new bricks.

(...) My brick version is now 38.17 but it warns that the model I have been working on contains parts that now can not be ordered. Is there any easy way to find out which bricks were discontinued? My model is quite complex, almost 6000 bricks, it (...) (16 years ago, 24-Apr-08, to lugnet.cad.ldd)

  Re: LPub 4 Status

(...) No, I use glfinish(). I've had all sorts of problems over the years with Apple because I often render in the front buffer to emulate the various ancient ldlite immediate rendering modes. Does it update ok when you spin the model with the (...) (16 years ago, 24-Apr-08, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: LPub 4 Status

(...) That one works for LPub. The buffer isn't getting flushed to the screen right. I have to resize or force a redraw in order. Are you calling CGLFlushDrawable at the end of your drawing code? --Travis (16 years ago, 24-Apr-08, to lugnet.cad.dev, FTX)

(...) Good idea. (...) I'll be happy to be your Tiger test subject, but I can only test Intel. --Travis (16 years ago, 23-Apr-08, to lugnet.cad.dev, FTX)

  Re: LPub 4 Status

(...) Since I already lost this once, I'm gonna stash it here just in case. To compile something that runs on Tiger from a makefile on Leopard add this: CFLAGS+= -mmacosx-version-min=10.4 -isysroot /Developer/SDKs/MacOSX10.4u.sdk LDFLAGS+= -isysroot (...)   Re: LPub4 Alpha source on sourceforge.net

(...) Hi Rosco, I've uploaded lpub.vcproj to sourceforge. I brought everything down into a clean directory and it built for me. Kevin (16 years ago, 23-Apr-08, to lugnet.cad.dev, lugnet.cad.dev.mac)

  Re: LPub 4 Status

(...) For what it's worth, Tiger will run on a 300 MHz G3. While it certainly wasn't fast, I don't recall ever encountering any software that simply said "I need a G4". That's not to say there's no reason why such software couldn't or shouldn't (...) (16 years ago, 21-Apr-08, to lugnet.cad.dev, FTX)

Re: LPub4 Alpha source on sourceforge.net

(...) And if you don't have QT properly configured, having the .vcproj probably won't do you any good anyway. --Travis (16 years ago, 21-Apr-08, to lugnet.cad.dev, lugnet.cad.dev.mac)

  Re: LPub 4 Status

(...) No idea. Whatever it is, it needs Tiger, though, since LDView is built to require Tiger. It presumably needs a G4. --Travis (16 years ago, 21-Apr-08, to lugnet.cad.dev, FTX)
