Hi all, I've converted the old conversion file from LDD 1.6 (with Jason Railton's adaptions) to LDD 2.0 format. It is far from perfect but is also far better than what is currently available. To install it just quit LDD 2, go to (...) (18 years ago, 22-Mar-07, to lugnet.cad.ldd)

(...) On the plus side, it does seem to run on older hardware. I could only run 1.6 on my wife's laptop which she bought last year. Last night, I was able to install and run 2.0 on my 5+ year old machine. -Elroy (18 years ago, 22-Mar-07, to lugnet.cad.ldd)

(...) Unfortunately, LDD 2.0 no longer runs on earlier versions of Windows. LDD 1.6 ran quite happily under Windows 2000, but the new version crashes as soon as you place a brick. (...) LDraw support is under the Import and Export options. Sadly, only flat LDR files are supported, not MPDs. (18 years ago, 22-Mar-07, to lugnet.cad)

(...) Worked like a charm! Thank you. Now...can we save these 2.0 files into LDraw like we could with 1.6? First attempt with simply apending .ldr to the file name in a 'save as' yield run errors in MLCAD. Joseph (18 years ago, 22-Mar-07, to lugnet.cad)

(...) Yeah, the Factory web site has been doing that to me for a while now. When I click on the light-blue download button IE blips at me and I get nothing. You can work around it by going to the instructions in the factory gallery itself. Click on (...) (18 years ago, 22-Mar-07, to lugnet.cad)

This is wierd. For several months, nothing has been posted about LCad CGI animation in Lugnet, and suddely the resuluts from three very different projects are published in I think less than a week. And even more funny: Without knowing of the other (...) (18 years ago, 21-Mar-07, to lugnet.cad)

It has been posted that the 10183 plans are supposed to be available on the 23rd...but they are currently shown on the LDD site with a download button. When I try to download one, something pops up on my screen, makes a sound and goes away. When my (...) (18 years ago, 21-Mar-07, to lugnet.cad)
