I haven't seen it noted anywhere before, but there seem to be 3 different molds used to make functionally different versions of this part, the 2x2x2 round robot body (R2-D2 body): (URL) The difference is in how the center hole at the bottom of the (...) In MLCad, is there a way to rotate the gear teeth of the 24 tooth gear by employing the "Z" element toolbar commands? The "Z" rotation command rotates the teeth for 8, 16, and 40 tooth gears, but only the internal bar and four holes rotate inside (...) (20 years ago, 21-Mar-05, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

I just posted an update to the minifig chain (part 208c01.dat) to the Parts Tracker. The official file three problems: it was too long overall, there were too many links, and each link was too small. (...) Hi Mitchell, LPub has no support for autostep. I didn't even know about it until you mentioned it. LPub supports STEP and ROTSTEP meta commands, but not autostep. If you read the LPub help file you wil find no mention of AUTOSTEP. Having made (...) (20 years ago, 21-Mar-05, to lugnet.cad.ray)

If I understand correctly, LDraw's Autostep is set as the default and requires no other changes (if you will accept a new step after adding each new part). However, I cannot get LPub to render anything but the complete assembly from a model designed (...) (20 years ago, 20-Mar-05, to lugnet.cad.ray)
