Howto on : BFC "Hold" on 47457.dat

I got an e-mail notice that a review of 47457.dat revealed BFC errors. I really don't know how to check for BFC compliance. All I did was to turn the part around to see if any of it was red. I know there's a caveat that some lines bleed red. I (...) (20 years ago, 1-Nov-04, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: 3 x 2 Wedge Plates

(...) Please understand that I wasn't harping on it to you guys. I had my bit of that, then Steve explained the situation to me (that it's a known problem, that it's being discussed, and that all Wedge Plates will probably end up as Wings), and now (...) (20 years ago, 31-Oct-04, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: 3 x 2 Wedge Plates

(...) That would seem to make sense. They share the characteristics with wing plates of being more-or-less a scalene triangle(1) and coming in both a left and right configuration. Regards, Allan B. (1) Depending on how you classify/measure notched (...) (20 years ago, 31-Oct-04, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: 3 x 2 Wedge Plates

(...) We are aware that this is unsatisfactory, and there is an ongoing effort by the LDraw parts librarians to standardise thse names. Wedge plates will probably all become Wings. Chris (20 years ago, 31-Oct-04, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: 3 x 2 Wedge Plates

(...) They're way at the very end of the Wedge grouping, just before the Wheel grouping starts. They're listed as Wedge Plate 2 x 3 Left/Right. The 2x4 versions are listed as Wings, and the double-wide versions of the same are listed as Wedge 3x4 (...) (20 years ago, 31-Oct-04, to lugnet.cad)
