  Re: Improved minifig heads  [DAT]

(...) Here's the same file with the torus primitive included. The left over quads you're seeing are part of the subfile, 3626bs01.dat. I didn't do anything about that, since this is just an example. 0 FILE 3626bp01.dat 0 Minifig Head - Stud Hollow 0 (...) (21 years ago, 2-Apr-04, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: Improved minifig heads

(...) I can't comment, because I don't have that torus file (t04o6250). However, the stuff left makes it look like the posted dat isn't correct even with the file. (Some of the geometry that I would have expected to be replaced by the torus is still (...) (21 years ago, 1-Apr-04, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: LDView problems

(...) I haven't heard of this happening before, but you might try turning off your mouse cursor shadow (assuming it's on) to see if that helps. There isn't any way to change the way LDView renders. On a side note, integrated graphics almost always (...) (21 years ago, 1-Apr-04, to lugnet.cad)

  LDView problems

Hi everyone, I've been having some problems with LDView (which is a great program, btw) and was hoping y'all could help. I've got an AMD 2000+ with integrated graphics and 256 megs of RAM, so I have enough power to run this, but whenever I move the (...) (21 years ago, 1-Apr-04, to lugnet.cad)

  Improved minifig heads  [DAT]

Is there any interest in improving the minifig heads by using torus primitives? For some of the patterned heads, where there is printing on the curved section, it would be somewhat difficult, but most of them could be fixed pretty easily. Andy 0 (...)   Accuracy of curved surfaces

I have a parts-author question. I am working on 'Electric Train 12V Brick 2 x 4 with Power Pickup' (Step 8 in: (URL) part contains some curved surfaces that cannot be done with primitives (very odd angles, like 41.112 degrees, 36.082 degrees and (...) (21 years ago, 31-Mar-04, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Mac Brick CAD 2.2b1 New Release

(...) Two quick things spring to mind... One is adding on the Deletion of objects for Powerbook users, right now we need to keep the Fn-key pressed down in order to be able to delete a selected piece.   Re: Mac Brick CAD 2.2b1 New Release

Great stuff Jim, where possible I'll answer interspersed with your comments (...) I've noticed this too on some bricks. It has to do with the fact that some parts use negative scaling when drawing some primitives. Both OpenGL and LDRAW can handle (...) (21 years ago, 30-Mar-04, to lugnet.cad.dev.mac, FTX)
