  Re: BIP Contest: Reloaded....again

(...) OK, I've added a total count to the contest page: (URL) like we are up to 709 BIs added! Only a few more until the Teaser prize is given away!   12A1HG TECHNIC Gun with BI's--really shoots projectiles!

Hello all! I have just finished up some BI’s for a brand new model I have been working on (that is off-and-on) for the past several months. It is…the 12A1HG (#12 Axle-Single Shot-HandGun) TECHNIC Gun! This gun is in fact made to be held in your (...)   LDraw.org MOTM, SOTM Submissions

Due to the hard work of the team members, we hope to have the Model of the Month (MOTM) and Scene of the Month (SOTM) contests up and running by next month. As such I'd like to ask for any and all submissions to these two contests. If you are new to (...) (21 years ago, 4-Nov-03, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw, lugnet.cad.ray, lugnet.announce)

  Parts Tracker sorting suggestion

Here is the solution (IMO) to the sorting thing for the PT and to the problem of files sitting there for ages. All files marked "hold" or "needs admin review" or "certified" (i.e. "you cant do anything with this file right now") go to the bottom of (...) (21 years ago, 4-Nov-03, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

  Re: Numbers Report - 27 October 2003

(...) I sort of think we shouldn't go there. Just my opinion. This isn't a competition. (21 years ago, 4-Nov-03, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

  Numbers Report - 3 November 2003

Section Totals 158 certified files. 289 files need admin review. 418 files need more votes. 540 have uncertified subfiles. 147 held files. Total Files: 1,552 Comparison with Prev.   Re: Legacy Files on the Parts Tracker

(...) My guess: If someone votes "will review" it's like it's on their to-do list because they think they're a good candidate. Submitting a modified part should not clear WILL NOT and WILL review votes. Only a hold/certify should clear them Give a (...) (21 years ago, 3-Nov-03, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

Re: Legacy Files on the Parts Tracker

(...) I like this idea. It solve the perceived de-emphasis on [art with uncertified subparts. (...) I think the parts list should list everything currently on the PT. This way I can find a subfile I may have missed or wasn't included in a model I (...) (21 years ago, 3-Nov-03, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

Re: Black colour in new instructions

(...) Good point - Which also indicates AxleGrey, AxleWhite, AxleRed (etc) may be useful too - although these colours don't seem to vary so much in instructions. ROSCO (21 years ago, 3-Nov-03, to lugnet.inst, lugnet.cad)

Re: Black colour in new instructions

(...) I agree but I'd also like to keep Lars, Don and Travis in the loop since they're the most active program developers not on the LSC. (...)   Re: Black colour in new instructions

(...) Hmm, maybe that would be best. Previous discussions on lugnet haven't reached a consensus. The last one I remember trickled off here. (URL) forget, who's in the LSC again? Don (21 years ago, 3-Nov-03, to lugnet.inst, lugnet.cad)

  Re: Numbers Report - 27 October 2003

(...) You know, if we all want to keep score, I could just whip up a "reviews posted per user" page. I *not* saying this a good idea, just throwing it out for consideration. Steve (21 years ago, 3-Nov-03, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

Re: PT File Queue has (minor) bug

(...) I wouldn't exactly characterize that as a "bug". Maybe if the page was called "My File Queue"... But it might be a nice feature for it to ignore files you've already looked at. Steve (21 years ago, 3-Nov-03, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

Re: Bugs with the Parts Tracker

(...) First off, a bigger issue with this file is that it is a model, not a part. I feel it goes beyond the idea of a shortcut, or complete assembly. However, to your point. This file uses *3* unofficial files. Yes, they are updates of (...) (21 years ago, 3-Nov-03, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

Re: Black colour in new instructions

(...) Right. Do we want to work that out in lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw, or are people OK with the LSC taking the discussion off-lugnet? Steve (21 years ago, 3-Nov-03, to lugnet.inst, lugnet.cad)

Re: Legacy Files on the Parts Tracker

(...) OK, so let's figure out a better sort order. The possible 'statuses' for files are: - Certified! - Needs Admin review - Needs more votes - Subfiles aren't certified - Hold My thinking when I constructed the list and the sorting was: - Keep the (...)   Re: New Part: 2706.dat - Technic Action Figure Shoe

Re: Legacy Files on the Parts Tracker

(...) Make deals with people. Trade reviews - you'll look at their files (and offer honest reviews) if they'll look at yours. (...) I'm sorry you've gotten that feeling. My feeling is that the current system gives a lot *more* power to the standard (...) (21 years ago, 3-Nov-03, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)
