  Re: LDGLite 1.0

(...) Thanks, but it sounds like the congrats are a bit premature at this point. Oh well, I guess I can live with 1.0.1 or 1.0.2 or 1.0.99 or whatever... (...) That's interesting. It sounds like I *can* query the driver during a reshape and find out (...) (21 years ago, 8-Aug-03, to lugnet.cad.dev.mac)

  Re: LDGLite 1.0

(...) Chris (and Don), I can reproduce this. It appears that changing between standard views after editing (not necessarily spinning) will do it. The behavior is actually different for me with the Apple OpenGL versus ATI. With Apple, the trans color (...) (21 years ago, 8-Aug-03, to lugnet.cad.dev.mac, FTX)

  LDGLite 1.0

Don, Congratulations on the 1.0 release. At 800,600 (32bit colors) resolution the ATi driver loads, and then LDGLite switches to the Apple driver (the window behavior and the printout from the terminal is included below) after the window is (...) (21 years ago, 8-Aug-03, to lugnet.cad.dev.mac)

Re: MBC 0.4b2 (Cocoa) bug fix release

(...) Oh... rotation is like buttah. Well, as buttery as a PB G3/400 gets :) Thanks. One note so far, the new and open commands leave the previous window as the acitve window. Not a show stopper by any means, but it is unexpected behavior. Hm, (...) (21 years ago, 8-Aug-03, to lugnet.cad.dev.mac)

  Ladder Requests

1) Could someone please correct the old three-piece ladder parts (850, 851, and 852)? These are twelve studs long in the real world but they're thirteen studs long in the LDRAW world. 2) Has anyone modeled the Fabuland / Mickey Mouse / Jack Stone (...) (21 years ago, 8-Aug-03, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: announcing TrackDraw (BrickFest preview)

(...) Well put. Why some people have to criticize when something is done for them for free is beyond my comprehension. James Wilson Dallas, TX (21 years ago, 7-Aug-03, to lugnet.cad.dev, FTX)

  Re: announcing TrackDraw (BrickFest preview)

(...) It's not that we're biased toward MS products, it's just Windows is the most widely used OS and therefore if you want to have to good user base you have to program for Windows. I personally find Linux confusing and prefer using Windows; does (...) (21 years ago, 7-Aug-03, to lugnet.cad.dev, lugnet.off-topic.debate)

  Re: announcing TrackDraw (BrickFest preview)

(...) ... (...) One basic difference between TrackDraw and Track Designer is that TrackDraw uses vector-based graphics; Track Designer uses bitmaps. With vector graphics, the drawing can be scaled arbitrarily large, and can be easily transcoded as (...) (21 years ago, 7-Aug-03, to lugnet.cad.dev)
