(...) This sounds like a shortcut in the algorithm. If the bezier function is f(t), it does not have the property that |f(t) - f(t+d)| = c for all t, d given. I've corrected for this in my algorithm by using some simple optimization to find a (...) (22 years ago, 28-Dec-02, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

Is part 2907 ( (URL)) what you mean? BTW, the Technica archive is a great reference for all (...) That is not the one, but I did find it on that page. the part in question is found in the Extreme Island Stunts sets. It attatches to the neck of a minifig and then has a stud attatchment. (22 years ago, 28-Dec-02, to lugnet.cad)

(...) If memory serves me well, in Fredrik's Ldraw mode you specified the endpoints in terms of orientation as well as coordinates, stated the number of joints and it calculated the rest. Certainly a good system for many instances as that (...) (22 years ago, 27-Dec-02, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

Has this part been modeled? I have no clue of the part number or if this is the correct name. This name came from BrickLink and the part number for the image is g8l. Right now it creates an LDraw part whose front face contains a whole bunch of small squares, one for each pixel in the image file (except for the edges, those aren't squares). Has this part been made or is there a mockup of it? The part number on the set references is x68, Technic Liftarm 1 x 2. It's part of set 8461 William's F1 Racer.
