  L3P v1.3 for Linux(i386)

It's the good old v1.3 from 20010120. I have tested it on case-sensitive as well as case-insensitive filesystems, but it's a kind of beta release. Please test every feature of L3P you can. I'm still working on release v1.4, I currently struggle with (...) (22 years ago, 1-Dec-02, to lugnet.cad)

Re: LDraw.org Parts Update 2002-05 Now Available

(...) Hi Orion, don't forget to update minifig LDDP plugin for official parts. A part update and a LDView update same day, that's impressive. Congratulations to Chris, as 199 files seems quite big for a first time. And special thanks to authors, (...) (22 years ago, 30-Nov-02, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Downloadable Handbook?

(...) But this isn't Parts Tracker stuff - it is Parts Authoring stuff. I don't think it would be easy for newbies to find under "Specifications" - so I'd rather see a new "Part Authoring" link on (URL) we create a new subdirectory "/authoring", are (...)   Re: *** LDView Version 1.9.7 Released ***

(...) True, it would be easy enough to add. They only appeared recently (some time this year, I think). There weren't any originally. They require special handling when the primitive substitution quality is set to its lowest setting, because at the (...) (22 years ago, 30-Nov-02, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: *** LDView Version 1.9.7 Released ***

(...) One thing I've noticed is that LDView doesn't support primitves with 2 digits in the fraction (e.g. 1-16cyli.dat, 3-16cyli.dat). I don't know much about the code but adding this in shouldn't be too hard. -Orion (22 years ago, 30-Nov-02, to lugnet.cad)
