I've been playing around a bit with LDraw, L3P, and POV-RAY over the past few weeks. In August I tried to do some rendering of individual LEGO elements and found it to be a lot more challenging than I had expected. After much hair-pulling and (...) (...) If you're BFC'ing, you should rotate them around Z or X, since they are on the bottom of the part. Generally, with BFC, avoid mirror-moves. Stick with rotating, translating (ie, moving), and scaling. Steve (22 years ago, 2-Oct-02, to lugnet.cad)
