Re: Ldraw DLL - Was: Ldglite must be faster

(...) I haven't looked at WinHandles in awhile, I don't have a strong preference for which way we go. Of course, if we choose right, we'll get some drawing parameters 'for free' -- I'm thinking (trying to remember) of window size, user-defined (...) (22 years ago, 3-Oct-02, to lugnet.cad)

Re: 3823.dat doesn't work well with P/48 primitives

(...) If you're BFC'ing, you should rotate them around Z or X, since they are on the bottom of the part. Generally, with BFC, avoid mirror-moves. Stick with rotating, translating (ie, moving), and scaling. Steve (22 years ago, 2-Oct-02, to lugnet.cad)

Re: New Part: (needs Number) - Baseplate 32 x 32 Craters

(...) <snip> obviously! Wow. Thanks Willy. Is this the largest single part ever done? When I sort my parts directory by size it is, and the runner up seems to be 3754P01 (another space part...) I was surprised to see the minifig crossbow in 5th (...) (22 years ago, 2-Oct-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: DAT to DXF again

(...) A google search for Autocad and lego turns up these nifty links. (URL) (22 years ago, 2-Oct-02, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: DAT to DXF again

(...) Would that be done in the BLOCK - ENDBLK section? It's been eeeeons since I did any DXF output, but that seems to ring a bell. And this link seems to back me up. (URL) luck, Don (22 years ago, 2-Oct-02, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: New Part: (needs Number) - Baseplate 32 x 32 Craters

(...) You could include an empty subpart file for the type 5 lines, just in case someone wants to make them later. Also, perhaps the hilly area itself should be made into a subpart. That might make it easier to add the crater studs and the painted (...) (22 years ago, 2-Oct-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: New Part: (needs Number) - Baseplate 32 x 32 Craters

(...) That won't really work. The edge and disc primitives only have 16 sides, which isn't really enough for circles that big. Plus, he'd have to redo the surrounding mesh to meet up with a 16-sided circle. It looks great, Willy. The only thing I (...) (22 years ago, 2-Oct-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: New Part: (needs Number) - Baseplate 32 x 32 Craters

(...) According to this post: (URL) number for this baseplate is 3947. I have no idea whence came that number (or any of the other numbers in the above post). HTH, TWS Garrison (22 years ago, 2-Oct-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts, lugnet.db.brictionary)

  Re: x169.dat Technic Liftarm 1 x 2

Hi Orion, Looks nice... I just wonder if the origin of part is OK: most liftarms have centered origin (like your part, so I guess you are right), while 6632 and 2825 have origin centered on extremity hole. Philo www.philohome.com (...) (22 years ago, 2-Oct-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)
