  Re: Formalizing a method for handling synthesizable parts

I figured out how to get it statically linked. I was able to transfer (...) (22 years ago, 27-Sep-02, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: LDraw Math Question??

(...) When rotating around X, +Y -> +Z. When rotating on Y, +Z -> +X. For Z, it's +X -> +Y. (...) It doesn't matter (I think) - you get the same results either way. Personally, I program with the vertices as a row vector on the left: [x1 y1 z1 1] (...) (22 years ago, 26-Sep-02, to lugnet.cad)

  Idea for a meta-statement

As a part author, I would *love* to see a POLYGON meta-statement. It would allow any number of points, and could be concave or convex (but not bow-tied). This would allow part authors to (more) easily construct surfaces, because they would just need (...) (22 years ago, 26-Sep-02, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  LDraw Math Question??

Hi. I'm having a few problems with the LDraw coordinate/rotation system. I understand that LDraw 'world' coordinates follow the following: -X is on the left. +X is on the right. -Y is up +Y is down -Z is into the screen +Z is out of the screen To me (...) (22 years ago, 26-Sep-02, to lugnet.cad)

  Minifig Generator Plugin for LDDesignPad

  Re: Rotation of Systems

(...) Yup, you remember correctly. Actually, I solved my problem after looking at your code. -Orion (22 years ago, 26-Sep-02, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: Rotation of Systems

(...) Actually, if I remember right, the Minifig Modeler in LDAO uses LDLite statements for placement and rotation. Of course, it's been awhile since I was in that code, so I could be hallucinating... 0 TRANSLATE <to end of arm> 0 ROTATE <wrist into (...) (22 years ago, 26-Sep-02, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: How accurate need bricks to be?

(...) Another problem: by standards, LDraw bricks are modeled with the walls being 4LDU thick. Most stud-hugging ribs on current versions of bricks would not protrude outside of a 4LDU wall. So the ribs won't show unless we make the walls thinner. (...) (22 years ago, 26-Sep-02, to lugnet.cad)

  10020, 10022 and 10025 files available

Hi, Loads of people asked for this and finally they are available; the Santa Fe files. Please read the Read me (in the zip or just hoover over the word readme on the page, clicking doesn't get you anywhere for some reason). Word of causion: the (...)
