  Re: Modeling an entire City

Thank you both for all the tips. I will have to give them a try. "Tore Eriksson" <tore.eriksson@mbox3...wipnet.se> wrote in message news:GztsIE.KJn@lugnet.com... (...)   Re: Modeling an entire City

(...) MLCAD is a very powerful program, 100% LDraw compatible but not the fastest alternative. When making buildings, I recommend BlockCAD. (I still use SimLego sometimes, but that's just for sentimental reasons or when I'm at my parents' house (...) (22 years ago, 25-Jul-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

  Re: Modeling an entire City

(...) My recommendation is to use NOTEPAD or another text editor. 1. Use MLCAD to make all your buildings, each in it's own file. (eg. building1.ldr, b2.ldr, b3.ldr) Make sure all the buildings are say on a 32x32 baseplate per bulding. 2. Use MLCAD (...) (22 years ago, 25-Jul-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

  Modeling an entire City

Does anyone have any tips on doing really large models? I am trying to build a city. I have several buildings built, but when I start adding roads and the separate buildings to the scene, MLCAD bogs down. Even when I turn stud rendering off and go (...)   Re: File Header request for Minifig Parts

hi steve, (...) many thx for the hint.   Could someone tell me what this is?  [DAT]

I *THINK* this is a genuine Lego part. It has the same physical thickness of a plate and the 'X's match up with the 1 x 4 x 1 Fence (which is what I used to make this). The material seems to be the same quality of Lego and the color matches the Lego (...) (22 years ago, 25-Jul-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)
