Re: looking for high-res scans of the Space Police II torsos

(...) I have both torsos and have scanned them at 600dpi. I have them saved as a 256 color bitmap (they are side-by-side in the same bitmap) and it is 341KB. Would this suit your needs? If so, post saying so, and I'll email it to you. Tim Romine (...) (22 years ago, 24-Jun-02, to lugnet.cad)

Re: HHEELLPPP! parts tracker messed up

(...) But real OSs don't know anything about lines! And they're booted by entering a JMP instruction with switches on the front panel & executing it... ROSCO FUT: .o-t.geek (22 years ago, 24-Jun-02, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.off-topic.geek)

Re: HHEELLPPP! parts tracker messed up

(...) exactly - besides, in real OSs, the line is terminated by the LF, and the CR is the llast char on the line :) Dan (22 years ago, 24-Jun-02, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: part 30086

(...) what was the issues? was it because the file was not split in 2? 30086 and 30087 as seporite files? (22 years ago, 23-Jun-02, to lugnet.cad)

Re: New Part - ?????.dat Minifig Helmet Type 1 (Classic Space)

(...) Thin chinstrap. Having this one already, there would never really be a need to model the thick chinstrap helmet except for kicks (it's not like these will split at the chinguard, right?). -- Hop-Frog (22 years ago, 23-Jun-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: HHEELLPPP! parts tracker messed up

(...) Adding on to my nitpickiness: I think Dan was writing from the perspective of the PT code, which treats the line feed character as the terminator, and the carriage return as just an odd character at the end of the line of text... Steve (22 years ago, 23-Jun-02, to lugnet.cad)

Re: HHEELLPPP! parts tracker messed up

(...) Are you serious? I could see how that might be - if the initial step of writing the uploaded file to disk failed, then there'd be nothing to syntax check, so there'd be no CRLF at all.... Which means I should beef up the error checking for (...) (22 years ago, 23-Jun-02, to lugnet.cad)

Re: HHEELLPPP! parts tracker messed up

(...) Nitpicking - the linebreak character sequence is 0x0d0a (or \r\n (or CR/LF)). Carriage Return (0x0d), then Line Feed (0x0a). Steve (22 years ago, 23-Jun-02, to lugnet.cad)

Re: HHEELLPPP! parts tracker messed up

(...) If you are using Windows 2000, just opening the file and manually saving it will correct the format. I don't know if WordPad in other versions of Windows will work the same way (but it's worth trying). Steve (22 years ago, 23-Jun-02, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Part recycling question

looking for high-res scans of the Space Police II torsos
