Re: minifig head - tusken raider  [DAT]

(...) ok, done (...) ok done. question: is Keywords MANDITORY for parts? I am "oldschool" ldrawer, from back when james was still around in 97 and what does cmdline do? it doesnt change either in l3lab or ldlite, i havent tried in ldview yet but (...)   Re: mouse model manipulation

(...) Wow, the l3 parser is much faster even when comments are being written to the console, but the behavior is the same. The model is rotating on the Lego rotisserie always in the same direction. Here is the output pdn(324, 175), -> (4.00, 65.00, (...) (22 years ago, 12-Jun-02, to lugnet.cad.dev.mac)

(...) Looks good. ;-) But, I'd put the dithered-color subfile reference... (...) ...up top, together with the other subfile reference. Also, I'd recommend some meta-statements: 0 CMDLINE -c487 0 KEYWORDS Star Wars, Tatooine, desert, raider, warrior, (...) (22 years ago, 12-Jun-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: How do I name this torus?

(...) Maybe I'm blind (really, just ask my optometrist), but I don't see where such a 'bagel torus' would be used on the jetpack. Could you elaborate/specify a bit? I suppose we should have thought of the 1:1 torus when we worked out the (...) (22 years ago, 12-Jun-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts.primitives)

  Re: Self-Certification in parts tracker

(...) I don't recall the discussion either, but that doesn't change my opinion (...) I think is new system is WAY better. Take a look at part 2598 and you'll see why I think this way. I'd rather have the process be slow and put out quality vice (...) (22 years ago, 12-Jun-02, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: mouse model manipulation

(...) What am I saying. At 50% zoom, 100 pixels will rotate it by x*2 degrees. So basically, the same "perspective" drag distance will rotate it the same. Don't know if this is a good idea or not. James (22 years ago, 11-Jun-02, to lugnet.cad.dev.mac)

  Re: mouse model manipulation

(...) I like the idea of absolute based on the zoom. So, at 100% zoom, 100 pixels will rotate it x degrees. At 50% zoom, 100 pixels will rotate it by x/2 degrees. Just my idea. I don't know if it would actually be nicer or not. James (22 years ago, 11-Jun-02, to lugnet.cad.dev.mac)

How do I name this torus?

I've had to create a new torus primitive for the Boba Fett/Jango Fett helmet/jetpack. The radius for the center of the ring is one (of course. they all are, if you follow ldraw format). However, the ring cross section radius is ALSO one. How do I (...) (22 years ago, 11-Jun-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts.primitives)
