I volunteer to review BFC-ed primitives

Hi all, At first I misbelieved BFC was just an algorithm-specific optimization. But actually it is having inside/outside polygons. This is better general specification with great expected benefit. Moreover, lugnet posters complain how difficult it (...) (23 years ago, 23-Mar-02, to lugnet.cad)

  Liftarm width

Maybe this subject has been beaten to death, but I wonder why straight technic liftarms are 20 ldu wide and bent ones are 18 only ? In reality both are exactly the same width, which as I measured is close to 18 ldu. Philo www.philohome.com (23 years ago, 23-Mar-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

New Part: Tile 2 x 2 with Pirate Map Pattern  [DAT]

Here's another piece from the Pirates line not yet in LDraw. Let me know what you think. (...) Hmmm, you mean you already made this part? I searched the newsgroup and the parts tracker before starting this, but didn't see it. You're right about the colors, it should be hardcoded blue. Andy (23 years ago, 23-Mar-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: Restrictions on color use in parts and subparts

(...) Huh? It is? Where? I know there's some writeup about dithered colors, but I believe Damien is thinking of the 'extended colors', the color codes between 17 and 26 (excluding 24) that are defined in the LDraw.org color reference.
