I like it Steve. I really like the simplicity of the first version as well. The second version reminds me of something I've been working on for a new model: (URL) cylinders are a perfect fit. (...) Ludo, The short answer is, "one (file/message) at a time"... Create five separate messages, uploading one file per message. I'd recommend that you upload the four subfiles *first*, so that you can reference their URLs when you post the *main* (...) (23 years ago, 13-Feb-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Up until today I was under the impression that the DivX codec was the best to create high-quality small size files. Yet when I redid the animations for the MAC users and used the QUICKTIME format (.mov) with the Sorenson Video 3 codec I could not (...) (23 years ago, 13-Feb-02, to lugnet.cad)

Graphics Gems covers basic stuff only where the presenter has an innovation. But they've been very good over the years. You can get any of their example source code online. Here's an enlarged variation on my previous posting. This probe is longer, with some storage/fuel tanks. The disk on the front/top of the probe is an extremely cheesy mockup of the pod racer intake vent from <set:7186> Watto's Junkyard. I'm not sure (...) OK, I was able to download the extension from www.divx.com and see your animations. Also, Matt, it played them with QuickTime Player not WMP. I don't know why I haven't been able to get this to work before. Well, now I am glad. I don't think it is (...) (23 years ago, 13-Feb-02, to lugnet.cad)

All the animations require that you have the DIvX4.11 or higher codec. Download from (URL) users give me a few hours and I'll get the quicktime format up for you guys. Sorry about that just that 'me forgets about you oddballs' =) ps. I do envy macs (...) (23 years ago, 13-Feb-02, to lugnet.cad)

yes just edit the quickres.ini file. The best way to do this is go to Render->Edit Settings/Render In the INI file heading click edit Then just copy one of the entries, paste it at the end and change the height/width to your choosing -Orion (23 years ago, 13-Feb-02, to lugnet.cad.ray)
