You can turn the files into an MPD. The layout of an MPD is like:
0 FILE mainfile.dat
<contents of mainfile.dat>
0 FILE subfile1.dat
<contents of subfile1.dat>
0 FILE subfile2.dat
<contents of subfile2.dat>
0 FILE subfile3.dat
<contents of subfile3.dat>
0 FILE subfile4.dat
<contents of subfile4.dat>
