Graphics Gems covers basic stuff only where the presenter has an innovation.
But they've been very good over the years. You can get any of their example
source code online.

These guys were in Gems IIR, and their book is worth buying, however I don't
recall if they cover very low-level techniques.

You could get the Michael Abrash Black Book online; it has a nice discussion
of Bresenham (I haven't read it since it ran in Dr. Dobbs long ago).
Actually the pdf online is hard to get.
