the floor should be an infinate plane, no matter how far you move the camera or model you shouldn't run out of floor. try commenting out the model with/* at the front and */ at the end. leaving the lights,camera, background, floor. render it and see (...) Thanks...that does the trick for the floor level. I'm still having problems with the black space across the bottom of the picture though. It's almost as if POV reaches the boundary of the floor and has nothing left to render at that point. Is there (...) (23 years ago, 19-Nov-01, to lugnet.cad.ray)

(...) Lines 993 to 996 have type 2 lines with color 0 instead of color 24. You could also use some more type 5 lines where the "dome xxxx sweep" sections meet the rectangles like along the outer edges. Line 766 has one such rectangle. Otherwise, it (...) Uh, that's mine. I converted the model to lightwave and then rendered it with global illumination in a Sky dome. Each part that moves was inlined down to the primative level and then converted so each part is a single entity. For example, the (...) (23 years ago, 19-Nov-01, to lugnet.cad.ray)

L3PAO has a "y" value that allows you to adjust the level of the floor. Is it possible that the lowest part in your model is not at y=0?
