RE: "Medifig" - New scaling for minifig parts

(...) Wow, that's creepy looking! It would work fairly well with some of my vehicle designs, however. As much as I dislike the juniorized Creator figs, I wonder if they aren't more to scale than minifigs... --Bram Bram Lambrecht bram@cwru.edu (URL) (23 years ago, 15-May-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

"Medifig" - New scaling for minifig parts  [DAT]

Hi, everyone! I've been working with LEGO's for a long time, and LDraw/MLCad for a while. Judging by some of the posts I've read, I'm not the only one dissatisfied with the overly "cute" juniorized minifigs. I do not own any of the technic figures, (...)   Re: Another rev to the Explorien Logo

Steve, I took a look at it and enjoyed the work that was put into this pattern. See if you can put it on a minifig torso (after changing the light blue to light gray, of course), so that we will at least have one of the 3 Explorien torsoes. James J. (...)   Re: New Feature Article - Progress in the LDraw Community...

(...) I read the article and caught the mention of some kind of petition. I went to the LDMC site and couldn't find one. What's it about? The reason I ask is I thought it funny that there was a petition about something produced with volunteer (...) (23 years ago, 15-May-01, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw, lugnet.cad)

Re: "33" Slope Shocker... Possible name change?

Nice response time here on my behalf :] Oops (...) Yeah, I didn't like these two either, mostly the first one. It could be confusing. (...) ARRrrgh!! Hehe, got it :] To me, either of the angle method or the rise-run methods could work, and I can (...) (23 years ago, 15-May-01, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: Technics beams and plates?

Well if your useing MLcad, go to 'file' and select 'scan parts'. This will ask you if you want to add any new parts it finds to the directory. When I installed MLcad I had to do this twice before I had all the parts that were soposed to be there! (...) (23 years ago, 14-May-01, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

Re: feedback wanted for parts 2912 & 2913

(...) Yes, a complete shortcut file should be created. A stub-file for the electrical wire has been submitted, you can use that in your shortcut. You should put the 'ferrit' (that's the electric leads, right?) in a separate file, and reference it in (...) (23 years ago, 14-May-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  feedback wanted for parts 2912 & 2913

Hi, I posted 4 weeks ago 2 dat files from the 9v train track power connector. The top part as 2912.dat , the bottom part as 2912.dat. pictures of those parts can be seen on my home page at the following location: (URL) select the link to these (...)   Technics beams and plates?

I'm trying to build my first L-draw / MLcad model, and my first step was to use a 1x10 technic beam, and since my parts list only has 1x2 and 1x14, my virtual creation stopped before it started. I'll bet there is a simple way to convert the 1x14 (...) (23 years ago, 14-May-01, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

  Re: RTM patch and mklist?

(...) Mklist.exe shouldn't need any fix. Are you sure you weren't trying to use makelist.exe? Makelist.exe is obsolete; it can only handle 1000 parts. Mklist.exe was released specifically to address the shortcomings of makelist.exe. Steve (23 years ago, 14-May-01, to lugnet.cad)
