  Re: 2 x 2 tile round

(...) Yes. (...) There are two possible reasons for the differences: 1. The file is actually inaccurate. 2. James modelled an older version of the part. I don't know enough about the history of this part to say whether it has changed over time or (...) (24 years ago, 12-Mar-01, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Level of detail (rings) ?

(...) Yes. We have started a set of 48-segment curved objects. These can be found in the ldraw/p/48/ directory. If you need a circle, disc, cylinder, ring, or cone that is not already in this directory (there aren't very many so far), look in (...) (24 years ago, 12-Mar-01, to lugnet.cad)

  Fictional data pad  [DAT]

I have read about "datapads" in Star Wars novels, so I decided to make one. There is, at the end of the .dat file all the pieces for the data_card_, which performs the same function that disks of today do. The file as is, shows the datapad and the (...)   Re: shortcut - completed palm tree

Franklin, Well, I just called it "palmtree.dat" but since there is not an "official" part number for it, what about something starting with 25, since all the individual parts start with 25? Just an idea, and a scillie one I might add. Or, we could (...) (24 years ago, 12-Mar-01, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Complete Figure Shortcuts for LegoCAD.

  Re: What happened reagdring formalisation?

  Pop Racer. . .  [DAT]

Hey, this is my first post to this forum. I built this off of Ralph -dö- Döring's web site and his pictures. His web site is here : (URL) and his email is on it. I used Fredrik Glöckner's ldraw-mode major for Emacs to make the hoses. If you havn't (...) (24 years ago, 12-Mar-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

Re: New Part: 3x 3x 2.5 Crane Basket

(...) In my opinion, it's part of the Crane Category ("(URL) the Title should begin with "Crane" (i.e., "Crane Basket 3 x 3 x 2.5 Square"). Franklin (24 years ago, 12-Mar-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: shortcut - completed palm tree

(...) Oops... This should read "palmtre6.dat" and "six trunk segments", respectively... Plz. be nice, I've had a sinus migraine all day. :-/ Thanks, Franklin (24 years ago, 12-Mar-01, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: shortcut - completed palm tree

(...) When I sent this one in (to Steve), I called it "x479.dat", but I'm wondering what we'll rename this short-cut. (_Especially_ since I'm _critically_ low on "temporary" part numbers; of the numbers I was given -- 460, and 462 thru 479 -- I've (...)   Re: LEGO Palm Pilot

To Kevin: Great likeness of the 1 x 2 Tile with Spyrius computer pattern. FYI, it is even shown on the last box of Space Minifigs (#6710, I think) being used as a hand-held (or a radio-mount) by 1 of the 2 Spyrius figures included. I may have a MOC (...)   Re: Boiling in Oil, new castle add-on for defense, need help.  [DAT]

(...) First, cauldrons would be more accurate, but barrels should look pretty good. Second, the oil would typically not be dumped over the wall. I've seen two approaches. The first is to have an overhang above the gates. This would be a guard room (...) (24 years ago, 11-Mar-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.ideas)

Warhammer 40,000 Space Marines Rhino Transport  [DAT]

Well, this is my first post to these newsgroups. I hope you guys can help with ideas etc... What I've attemped here is a sort of "proof-of-concept" model.   What happened reagdring formalisation?

It's in the title but what was eventually decided about formalising LDraw.org? I ask because I had a new meta command I wanted to submit and wanated to send it to the right person!
