  Re: (Mac) BrickDraw3D update

I just took a chance -- posted yet another update without noting it on the web page. Selecting bricks is 2 times faster. Dumb bug. Also, if you open a file named like "*.CGI" it renames the file for you, to a more sensible name if the file contains (...) (24 years ago, 20-Feb-01, to lugnet.cad)

The whole idea of the OMR is very much in a grey area copyright-wise, so I suggest that those in charge of the OMR contact LEGO, explain the situation, and ask them what they find is reasonable.   Re: Official model repository situation

And here's another issue. The Brickshelf has self-imposed restrictions to not have scans of instructions for sets from 1997 or later. Should the OMR have a similar restriction? --Ryan (24 years ago, 20-Feb-01, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

  (Mac) BrickDraw3D update

Feb 19, 2001 BrickDraw3D update. This is an LDRAW compatible program I am developing for MacOS 8 and 9. In this version: Much, must faster at loading multi-file models like the circus and centurion examples. (Still no mpd support.) Maybe some new (...) (24 years ago, 20-Feb-01, to lugnet.cad)

Re: New part, need a part number.  [DAT]

Ok, I figured it out. The original part used the rect.dat primitive which I replaced (I'm a neophite) with a quadrilateral. Soooo, I redid it again with a RECT.DAT instead of the quarilateral the way the original was and maybe this is more correct? (...) (24 years ago, 20-Feb-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Hmm, I see what you were refering to, I think. If I am not too mistaken, the original part I started with were missing these as well. Check it out again if you don't mind. :) Oh, how do I get a part number for this? (...) 0 Author : Ronald Scott (...) (24 years ago, 20-Feb-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)
