Error in 2357.dat (or in LDGLite)  [DAT]

There seems to be an error in 2357.dat (or in LDGLite). It looks like the winding has been swapped for some of the sides, so the wrong surfaces are drawn. This is only visible in some special cases. When you render the example below with LDGLite (...) (24 years ago, 8-Feb-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts, lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: On the difficulty of making building instructions

I think I have a nice solution to the 3-dimensional movement. Depending on what side of the brick you mouse on, its movement is constrained. Style 1: you mouse on a brick's side, it's like you can only push or pull it in a straight line. Click on (...) (24 years ago, 8-Feb-01, to lugnet.cad)

LCAD for Risc-OS (was LCAD/LDraw.org Formal Organization)

In lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw, Alex Farlie writes: [snip - lots of stuff] (...) Ldglite is distributed as C source code and requires either OpenGL or Mesa. There is information on Mesa for Risc-OS here: (URL) should be similar to the "ldglite for (...) (24 years ago, 7-Feb-01, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

  Trying to locate some parts

Bet I can outdo Sproat on this:) I have ALL the Rockraider sets (except those japaneese ones) and I like it:) I'm trying to locate some parts for a inventory I'm building. The set number is 4940 The legs: in step 6 there's a 1X2 brick with a clip (...) (24 years ago, 7-Feb-01, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: On the difficulty of making building instructions

Here's an idea I just tought of. If you make a blok with studs and studs* so you can either place a block freely or with it's stud* in a stud. just like in real life. It asures correct placement. Probably a dumb idea, but i'll hit send anyway. Koen (24 years ago, 7-Feb-01, to lugnet.cad)

Re: On the difficulty of making building instructions

(...) BlockCad (and perhaps other programs) does some collision detection when moving the bricks to assist in the placement. You could enhance this by inventing a mouse that provides some tactile feedback (ala playstation controllers) when the (...) (24 years ago, 7-Feb-01, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: L3PAO small update available

(...) Hmm.. that's odd, because L3PAO should check for POV and still continue even if it isn't found. But then again, I've never tested it on a system that *didn't* have POV installed. Tonight I'll try uninstalling my POV and see if I get the same (...) (24 years ago, 7-Feb-01, to lugnet.cad)

On the difficulty of making building instructions

Re: New Part - 3900 Minifig Signal Holder
