  Re: neck-mark for 973 files

(...) I sent fixes for all the currently released torsos to Steve in November 2000 and the revised 973s01.dat has a commented out section indicating how the neck mark should be coded, just as it does for the fron/rear faces - viz. 0 Uncomment for (...)   neck-mark for 973 files

Steve, Have you received updated DAT files for all of the minifig torso patterns, yet, for the change in how we do the neck-marks? If not, which ones still need to be changed? Did I ever offer this suggestion, that instead of hard-coding the actual (...) (24 years ago, 27-Jan-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts, lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: bryce and ldraw

Yes, it can be done. I use Bryce4 for my rendering work. What I have found is that the DXF converter works by grouping colored parts together. The transparent pieces need to be of a different color so the converter will single out those particular (...) (24 years ago, 27-Jan-01, to lugnet.cad.ray)

(...) Yeah, I still prefer using the original version of LDraw. MLCad uses too many of my system resources. I wish someone would update LDraw!!! Mike (24 years ago, 27-Jan-01, to lugnet.general, lugnet.trains, lugnet.cad.dev)

  Diablo-style RPG?

Hey, Anyone interested in creating a Diablo-style RPG using LDraw? I sorta know how to do it using the freeware Dink Smallwood engine. It wouldn't be too hard, just time-consuming. Plus, to all you long-term, quasi-professional LDraw & Lugnet (...) (24 years ago, 27-Jan-01, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Windows 2000 and MIME Types?

I finally decided to update my MIME types for DAT files on my computer - and I can't seem to get to the MIME type setting in Windows 2000. Anyone know how to set the mime type to application/x-ldraw? I can't even tell if that is set on there or not. (...) (24 years ago, 27-Jan-01, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: ldarw website down

(...) It appears to be down for me too. In my case, its probably the across the pond deal. Guess we'll have to wait it out. -Tim (24 years ago, 26-Jan-01, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: ldarw website down

(...) My brouwser is able to find the site address and does show about half of the progession bar, but then I get timed out. So I think the site is running, but it's possible that somewhere on the web there is a severe bottleneck between us and the (...) (24 years ago, 26-Jan-01, to lugnet.cad)
