  Can this be done easily?

Last night I had a thought ... wouldn't it be really cool if MLCad could verify that a model was constructed "correctly"? In simple terms it could check to see if any bricks overlapped others, and also make sure that bricks were aligned against (...) (24 years ago, 7-Nov-00, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

Re: How do I speed things up ?

I was thinking on that too, but this might be a bit confusing when parts are not like a box, like you said most of the technic parts. But sure this is also a possibility. Michael Anders Isaksson <isaksson.etuna@REMO...tninet.se> schrieb in im (...) (24 years ago, 7-Nov-00, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

(...) ok, Thank you Steve. I have made a few other tweaks, others to come, if they are welcome, and I'm not hurting anyones pride. 4862 - James J. - Glass for Window 1 x 2 x 2 Plane Quad with duplicate points. 4858 - James J.? - wedge 4 x 4 2 quads (...)   Has the other ThrowBot joint been made into a *.dat file?

Does any one know if the Technic ThrowBot Ankle, 2 x 3, w/ cross block has been done, or if someone is working on it?? Here is a picture: (URL) (24 years ago, 7-Nov-00, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Some thoughts..

This is a very interesting prospect. I look forward to when this project will come out. Let me know when it does, or what enhancements it will bring to the LCADding community! Thanks, Mike (...) (24 years ago, 6-Nov-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  shoulder pieces

Hi all, I'm just wondering if anyone knows if the shoulder pieces have been made in .dat form yet. By 'shoulder pieces', I'm speaking about the little shoulder pad like things in pirate sets, and possibly others. Just curious. Jeremy (24 years ago, 6-Nov-00, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Does anybody have any idea who made this part for LDraw?

(...) Hmm. I was thinking your files were id'ed. Maybe I'm wrong. Well, checking releases ldraw.exe, lp97-13.exe, and lp97-14.exe (already conviently unarc'ed on my hard drive), I see 5 files with your name in them. If there were others, please let (...)   Re: Searching for parts

(...) The FAQ is not quite correct. Step #1 should be last, not first. Strictly speaking, LDraw 'searches' by trying to access files, named as follows. (This is taken directly from the LDraw code).   Re: [part] Updated S\973S01.DAT

(...) Great! I see you have discussed the neck-mark in lugnet.cad.dat.parts and come up with a brilliant solution. The neck-mark has always been a PITA to me; it is THE ONLY linetype 1 we have with color 24. POV has no notion of a "reverse" color (...) (24 years ago, 6-Nov-00, to lugnet.cad)
