In your AUTOEXEC.BAT (on W95/98), make sure there is a line like SET (...) (24 years ago, 5-Oct-00, to lugnet.cad.dev, lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

(...) You might have installed some files incorrectly. Assuming you installed in c:\ldraw, look in the directory/folder c:\ldraw\parts. There should be about 1864 files in this directory. If you are short some files, look for a 3023.dat file. That's (...) (24 years ago, 5-Oct-00, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

Manfred, Well, I'm sorry, but though I did follow all your instructions completely (I think) none of them really fixed my problem, but they did give me insight into how to write a Batch file. Here's what I did to get L3P to run correctly: I put (...) (24 years ago, 5-Oct-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)
