Re: Hacked my first part -- 4349 Town Loudhailer

(...) Easy -- I opened the part (in the models dir) in LEdit, moved something that was totally far from the 5-lines, saved it, and loaded the part in a text editor. Sure enough, the 5-lines with color 24 were now 4-lines with color 24. FWIW, all the (...) (24 years ago, 18-Aug-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  steering dats?

Anyone have a DAT file for a steering mechanism? I have put together a set of wheels that can be turned (as in steered) but because the model is not very wide, none of the parts I have are working. The linkage between the arms of the wheels is only (...) (24 years ago, 18-Aug-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.ideas)

  Re: More newbie questions

(...) The obvious issue I can see with this is the path to the executables. In some cases, simply having the .exe in the path is good enough, but I understand there are problems with this. I anyone willing to test a .reg file I just built? Cheers, - (...) (24 years ago, 18-Aug-00, to lugnet.cad)

  parts authoring question

Hi, When writing a new part, where should the 0,0,0 point be? Is there some rule who say's that this should be somewhere, or could this be any point. The part i'm writing (9V Straight track [2865])has a Y range from -16 to 8 in other words, the (...) (24 years ago, 18-Aug-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Suggestion

Hey... Pardon me if this has been mentioned before, but I'd like to see MLCad when it starts up not display the warning messages 'file not found, continue loading?' - instead, why not generate an error log at the bottom of the screen in another (...) (24 years ago, 18-Aug-00, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

  Sweetening LEGO Creator

Picture this: You're walking down the cereal aisle at the supermarket and suddenly, out the corner of your eye, you see boxes of cereal with little images of LEGO pieces! You look closer and -- it's LEGO Creator! On a CD-ROM! Bundled with Cocoa (...) (...) WHAT?!? Do you have evidence for this? The 4-as-5 thing was reported as a bug in LDAO awhile ago, but I could never pin it down. I'd love to know what's actually happening. Steve (24 years ago, 17-Aug-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: More newbie questions
