MLCAD will automatically select it for you. If your DAT file incorporates
other DAT files, it becomes an MPD (Multi-Part Dat file).

Many people do not include the STEP command into their model, I assume. I
know that only some of the files I have seen use them.

A recursive included submodel would be a model that includes itself as a
submodel, which, as a submodel, would include another copy of itself and so
on.

That is the way it is set up with the LUGNET cgi-bin, I believe. I would
really like it if it defaulted to .mpd so that it would automatically open
MLCAD.
