Re: My version of the BTTF delorian

(...) built it about 2 days after that first post, from some older stuff my friend gave me. (lots of technic and chewed up stuff that he got at a thrift shop 7 years ago) It took me that long to L-draw and eventually get my webpage up. My only beef (...)   Re: Lego on a realtime engine?

That is EXACTLY what I have been looking for also!!!!! I think your best chances are with the, somewhat, new LDView. This program opens up .dat or .mpd files and alows you to view them realtime in opengl with a 3d exclerator card. However, you can (...) (24 years ago, 15-Aug-00, to lugnet.cad)

Re: My version of the BTTF delorian

I made on of those quite a while back. It is located at (URL) thought my model looked pretty good, but there were some major problems with it that I was to lazy to fix at the time.   Re: MLCAD rotation (future request)

Ok, I will think on this too. Just a summary: There are four options for a single part rotation: 1 - Rotate via origin of the part 2 - Rotate via center of part 3 - rotate via world origin(0/0/0) and 4 - rotate over a user set rotation point. For (...) (24 years ago, 15-Aug-00, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

  Re: Suggestion?

The sounds like a good idea. However you should check your settings, and see if the Position for new part is not centered, and the draw to selection only option is disabled .... this slows down very much. Thanks, Michael Adam Howard (...) (24 years ago, 15-Aug-00, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

  Suggestion?

Hi Mike! I've been working on a large model and have run into the slowwwiiiinnnnggg-dowwn wall. Whenever I add a new piece or rotate a selected one it seems to take forever. I'm not sure, but I believe it is because MLCAD re-renders the whole model (...) (24 years ago, 15-Aug-00, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

Re: Hacked my first part -- 4349 Town Loudhailer

(...) I only added lines #6 - 36 -- all the color 24's were there before. Whoops, I see what happened now. When I ran it through LDAO's inliner (see below), it changed all the type-5 lines to type 4. I just now changed the pseudo-4's back into real (...) (24 years ago, 14-Aug-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: Hacked my first part -- 4349 Town Loudhailer

(...) Actually, it didn't look so good in L3Lab -- because L3Lab balked at using color 24. A totally different approach would be to construct a subfile, which would contain one segment of ribbing. Then use the subfile to build the ribbed section of (...) (24 years ago, 14-Aug-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)
