  Re: 6949 Robo Guardian

i'm super glad you responded to this, chris. it will give me the opportunity to publicly thank you for your work on those parts. i do have the part files and i'm using them with the pov images for the shrinius site. i didn't want to include the (...)   Re: Cannot find a particular part for ldraw...

(...) I think this is just about the best forum to ask this question. (...) It hasn't been done yet. At least, it's not released in the official update, and it's not in the hopper for the next update. And I don't see that anyone has posted a file to (...) (24 years ago, 31-Jul-00, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: bmp2avi

(...) My mistake, I though you said you have an AVI, and wanted an easy way to convert to MPG. Here are some other resources for you: (URL) (24 years ago, 31-Jul-00, to lugnet.cad.ray)

Re: Castle Falcon - work in progress

(...) OK. My suggestion is to make the falcon, and then decide if you want to continue on with the parrot. If you do, someone around here would probably be willing to send you a parrot or two, just to help out. (...) Don't worry, we will. :) Once (...) (24 years ago, 31-Jul-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: mlcad request

(...) While you are at it, you could also make the resize(SPLIT) information of the design windows (the ones with the views TOP, FRONT, RIGHT, 3D) relative. Since currently if you resize them, and if after you MAximize it, or or vice-versa, only the (...) (24 years ago, 31-Jul-00, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: bmp2avi

(...) It looks like there is some kind of source available for Windows NT at: ftp://mm-ftp.cs.berk...eg/encode/ I dunno if this works for other Windowses as well, or if my assumption that it is for Windows NT is even true! Sorry. Fredrik (24 years ago, 31-Jul-00, to lugnet.cad.ray)

  Re: bmp2avi

(...) Is it only available for *nix platforms? I've kinda ditched my linux box, so it would be handy if it could run on windoze platform. John (24 years ago, 31-Jul-00, to lugnet.cad.ray)

  Re: bmp2avi

(...) Great, but what I really nead is a tool, or perhaps just the information, to create a proper avi out of bmp's. Do I need my bmp's to have a special format? Do I need a fixed number of frames? Or should any old size of bmp's snap together (...) (24 years ago, 31-Jul-00, to lugnet.cad.ray)

Re: 32348.dat Technic liftarm 1x7 bent (unofficial)

This one looks good except for the placement of the origin. The y-axis should pass through the first cross-axle hole, i.e. the first one you're seeing in the oblique view. Fredrik (24 years ago, 31-Jul-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: bmp2avi

(...) I prefer to encode the iamge frames directly into MPEG format. So far, I've only used the Berkeley MPEG tools, which are available for most formats. These tools are quite good, in my opinion, allowing you to control all kinds of parameters. (...) (24 years ago, 31-Jul-00, to lugnet.cad.ray)

Re: new rendering type? someone else is doing it too

(...) Yep I've noticed that also. It is especially prevalent in models using black bricks. I've been messing around with the parameters trying to acheive the correct balance but no luck yet. (...) I gotta try that... (...) (24 years ago, 31-Jul-00, to lugnet.cad)
