Re: New Part: Castle Shield with Black Falcon Pattern  [DAT]

(...) This is VERY strange, and now does look like a bug in MLCad 1.8 (any chance you could take a look Mike) The offending line is 4 16 4 21 -10 7 21 -10 4 23.5 -10 3 22 -10 which MLCad 1.8 thinks is a bowtie, but rotating the points (1234 to 4123) (...)   Epaulets?

Does anyone know if the handy little LEGO epaulets ("frilly shoulder pieces"?) were ever made into dat files? If not, does anyone know a decent facsimile, at least something to spruce up some minifigs for use as naval officers? Thanks in advance. (...) (25 years ago, 17-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  2000-01 Voting Closing Soon

The votes have been trickling in. If you want to make your opinion known, please vote soon! I will probably be taking the vote-page down tomorrow night. That's Tuesday, April 18th. If you have fixes for any of your parts that you want included in (...) (25 years ago, 17-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad.dev, lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

  Easy hosing with LDraw-mode

I've just added a function to LDraw-mode which makes the process of composing a bent 73590.DAT Hose Flexible 8.5L very easily. Here's what you do: Insert the end points where you want them. Here's an example: 1 16 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 1 750 .dat 1 (...) (25 years ago, 17-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Setting up IE to view DAT files with L3Lab?

(...) I believe you're supposed to do this with a "regular" explorer window, NOT Internet Explorer. Try "Start/Programs/Windows Explorer", or right click on "My Computer" and select Explore. I just tried it on Windows 2000 and I had to use (...) (25 years ago, 17-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Performance Improvement

(...) Usually software Renderers internally use only triangles, because it simplifies the rendering algorythm, but in an hardware renderer, you can't be sure, it depends much on the hardware architecture. There a few hardware renderers which also (...) (25 years ago, 17-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: New Part: Castle Shield with Black Falcon Pattern

(...) Thanks a lot Joachim. This is the info I needed. I'll take another look ... and maybe I need to download a more recent version of MLCAD (I'm still on 1.4). Chris (25 years ago, 17-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: Voting Open for LCAD Parts Update 2000-01

(...) Sorry, that's my fault -- I had started out adding the 'Official...' comment to some files, but then I figured I should probably wait until *after* the voting to add/change the tag. But 3461.dat is an old part, that accidently got overwritten (...) (25 years ago, 17-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: 30377.dat Battle Droid Arm

Re: Setting up IE to view DAT files with L3Lab?

(...) Ah! I just knew I had read this somewhere, but I couildn't find it even though I searched for a long time. Thanks! (...) The problem is that I don't have this menu option in the Internet Explorer 4.0 on my PC. So I don't know how to insert (...) (25 years ago, 17-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad)
