  Re: Minifigs

Frish, All those minifigs you saw were made using LDraw or MLCAD. Check out (URL) for information on how to use Ldraw. Heads, hats, arms, legs, torsos, and various accessories are available, but you need to assemble the minifig yourself. Ben -- (...) (25 years ago, 8-Mar-00, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Another request to LDlite programmers...

(...) Rats! I just added this feature to LdGLite in the hopes of snagging another beta tester. If this makes it any more tempting, LdGLite now saves png files (which are significantly smaller than bmp files but still keep the full 24 bits of color (...) (25 years ago, 8-Mar-00, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Car- version 2 (was Re: sports car)

(...) Traffic light drag racing? There are some great ideas for traffic lights in the Ultimate LEGO Book. We might have to make a city background, too then. Perhaps some randomized buildings of different scales? Shouldn't be too hard after creating (...) (25 years ago, 8-Mar-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.models, lugnet.cad.ray)

Re: help!!! - light sources in POV-RAY

(...) Well, I don't know how helpful this is -- and I did have to add the lights manually in the .pov file -- but the raytraced images shown here... (URL) a POV point-source light rather than actually coloring any elements. It's wicked slow to (...) (25 years ago, 8-Mar-00, to lugnet.cad.ray)

Re: automated rendering??? (was "Re: New White Tiger Mecha")

Lars, Speaking of rendering many files, is there a way you could edit L3P so that the output files wouldn't include color definitions. I like to use my own (well, actually, Anton Raves') colors, so I always have to delete the color definitions from (...) (25 years ago, 7-Mar-00, to lugnet.cad.ray)

Re: Another request to LDlite programmers...

(...) Wow, that's doubly bizarre... I wonder if it Yahoo!'s server is looking at something else, then, such as the OS type, the browser type, or various MIME declarations from the browser, etc...   Re: Another request to LDlite programmers...

(...) Wow, that's Bizarre. There's nothing wrong with the HTML being emitted by the web interface, so the only thing I can think of is that Yahoo! is looking at the HTTP_REFERER and denying direct links to .bin files...? --Todd (25 years ago, 8-Mar-00, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.admin.general)

Re: Another request to LDlite programmers...

(...) This is very odd. Using the web-interface, when I click the link on the previous message, I get Yahoo!'s "can't find this page" message.
