  Re: LDraw CD-ROM Project

(...) And that 50Mb animation I searched for in vain! (...) That's why I'd prefer a CD-r and not a CD-ROM. Then if the CD-r is left open, at least we who have a writer could update the CD. It's getting more and more common at my work that we obtain (...) (25 years ago, 5-Feb-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Organizing the LDraw CD-ROM

Well, since we've discussed some of the logistics behind producing the CD, its time to get the organization down. First off, I'll send out emails to everyone who has contributed a utility that works with the LDraw system, and get permission to (...)   Re: LDraw CD-ROM Project

(...) $100 to ship 650 cds (even with pouches) sounds high. I ordered 500 blank CDs with jewel cases that I guarantee weighed more and took up just as much room as 650 with cardboard pouches and shipping was in the thirties. (25 years ago, 5-Feb-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: LDraw CD-ROM Project

How about have a submission for the CD to include models (sample models). BTW I like the idea. It would keep that LDraw folder with all the junk down!   Re: L-CAD Parts Messages (was: Suggestion for ML-CAD Plug-Ins)

(...) Nah. The only VB concern is if outgoing messages will be translated down to single-byte codes from the VB default double-byte. But if it doesn't happen automatically, the data can be filtered through a byte array first. Steve (25 years ago, 4-Feb-00, to lugnet.cad.dev, lugnet.cad.mlcad)

Re: L-Draw - Future is the Net?
