Some criticisms:

The "red-eye" detracts from the photo and is vivid in the mosaic too (a dynamite
tile?)

I think the chair? just to the right of the girl should have been removed - I
think it takes away from the composition (esp. in the mosaic).

A subject with less background might have worked better (imho).
